I was thinking the same thing as smark, did they give you a receipt? If not, I'm sure if you provide a copy of your credit card statement saying you paid them then the burden of proof will be back on them.

yes i got the receipt in the box with the parts.it was from 4smartcar. but they told ebay that i did not pay for the parts. reported me as no pay on ebay. but as i said to them and to ebay when i clicked buy now it went to there store and would not let me do pay pal. so i did a credit card to there site. 4smartcar said they do not do that.

it is all taken care of with ebay and am back in good standing with them. that was all i cared about . as for 4smartcar. no more.

This happens all the time on eBay when auction sellers lose track of their sales. It just shows that the company screwed up; if it happens as a pattern, they're unreliable. If it's just once, it's annoying. eBay and Paypal have methods to handle disputes like this, and you've seen that they work.

I wouldn't write off a company if this occurrence is rare, but make sure they know you're unhappy with the situation so they can fix it.
