Ages of Smart Owners

What is everyones ages? I am 25, she is 23. We have seen many owners of these little cars around this area but was curious of the nationwide ages.

32 ...... I don't want to offend anyone but most pictures I see of people (not this forum another smart forum) seem to be older people. I thought this was a younger person's car but maybe that's just my view of it.

Most "younger people's cars" end up being bought by older folks, because we aren't as dumb as we seem, we aren't dead YET, and we have the money.

This is a poll that has actually been done here before.

In my area, our club has around 36 cars. I'm pretty sure I'm around the 3rd youngest member......next year I retire from my job that I've been at for 20 years. Does that give you an idea?

Last time this poll was done, most of the owners were over 50....not that 50 is old.

I hit double-nickels this summer. Woo-hoo! 55! Finally old enough to order off the senior's menu at Denny's! Yes! My life just keeps getting better.

Maybe I'll order the Octomom special...eight eggs, no sausage, and the guy next to you gets stuck with the bill.

I think age is relative. It all depends on which relative you talking to. To an older relative, you are young. To an younger relative, you are old.

I am glad you added that '..not that 50 is old' since I turn 50 in Jully 2009.

There is a poll on another website that shows that 59% (of those who voted) paid cash.

I am fast approaching the 65 mark and I too paid cash! I am fortunate (not rich) to have been able to pay cash for the last three cars I bought. This can be accomplished by driving one car for a very long time. Once it is paid-off keep making payment to a saving account - there's the cash for the next car. The amount you will save on interest is astronomical.
