Unfortunately, the only way to get it reset is to take it to the dealer. Also, I have read that if the light is on, it disables the system, so you need to get it reset ASAP. If you get into an accident, the airbags won't go off to protect you.
Make sure if you are going to mess with any part of the airbag system you unhook the battery AT LEAST 30 minutes before doing the work. They system will hold voltage for that long.
Don't feel bad, the body shop portion of my dealership set off my airbag light when they took my car apart to repair damage from me hitting a raccoon because they were to dumb to know any better.

Last time they will ever touch my car.
