Air bag recall?

There seems to be an air bag problem developing on the Canadian cars.

This is another good reason why we need a forum for "Known Defects". However, at this point, I'm not sure if this problem is on their 450s or the new NA 451s. More later.

Except for the last post which seems to be more of a problem with the road than the car, these posts are 2 1/2 years old and of course a different car.

a little extreme don't you think? or did i miss something about a widespread problem? just because a light comes on doesn't make it a "known defect". let's wait and see if anything develops before sounding off another "the sky is falling warning" like people did with the front hood cover.

This is the air bag, An important component of our cars safety system and IMO, worth a heads up.
