There is a need to be careful here. Do not go to strong on chemical. I hope some of our new owners do post results. Thanks Tom for the question.

Don't know, my dealer removed it prior to delivery. Nice of them!

When in doubt removing a sticker heat it up with a hair dryer for a minute or two. That will soften the adhesive and usually helps to remove it cleanly

Another trick for stickers is to cover it with peanut butter, and leave it on there for a while, (like overnight) the oils do their magic on the sticker and it will come right off.

just pull it off - no residue (it was meant to be read by the owner and then removed).

regards,

ken

The only problem with peanut butter is the cloth dash behind it. I'd be afraid of spotting it.

That begs the question of durability of the cloth dashboard... I appreciate the niceness, but I think I might have preferred a good quality vinyl. I guess I'll just have to get used to vacuuming the dash instead of treating it with a dressing

The one on my glove box came of easy, no residue. The one on the visor above it just had the clear film cover come off and the yellow ink is still there. It's plastic so first will be peanut butter, then work up as needed. In the past on US cars sometimes I ended up buying new visors because I HATE THOSE!

There was also a small sticker with the 800 number on the driver visor - deep sixed that since it's in the packet that is in the mesh holder in back.

Looks too much like a lawn mower at WalMart, covered with so many safety stickers that a person is afraid to touch it. Hey everyone, use your heads, read the manuals and stop sending spoiled kids to law school.
