You think the cooling of the engine could be setting it off ??? You would think they would have tested after installation, or something...

Ah, so then it is a defective motion sensor no doubt - that should pin point it for them, I wonder what the problem fixing it is

I doubt it is anything like that or it would be happening on all cars with the alarm and it is not

Engine cooling might be a possibility if it hadn't been sitting in the driveway or garage for hours without the engine running. I don't know where both are mounted. I know one is underneath the seats somewhere.

Cooling.

I wasn't thinking engine cooling directly, as I'm sure the sensor is far away from that. But more like cabin temp change.

Like Angel's car, ours goes off after it has set a couple hours, or more.

If I can find the sensor, I will heat it and cool it to see if it will trigger. This is standard procedure for intermittent, electronic trouble shooting and I believe I have a can of freeze around here. A hair dryer will take it the other way,

Angle, which seat do you think the sensor might be under and if you had a chance to see it, What does it look like?

Auto shops seldom do electronic trouble shooting, They just swap out parts until they finally get lucky. Meanwhile we just have to keep coming back.

A2Jack.

I didn't get to see where the sensors were located or what they look like. The service rep had just mentioned that one of them was under the seats. He didn't specify where. It usually goes off at night time. Though it has gone off in the afternoon. Hopefully my 3rd time will be a charm. Keeping my fingers crossed for when I take her in again tomorrow.

I had this problem. The service tech said he found the rear window microswitch sensor misadjusted. Once he fixed that, no more false alarms.

Thanks! I'll make sure to mention that in case they don't know about that being a possibility.

I actually think all the noise from Blue Belle was like a new puppy missing his litter mates or Momma. In this case Mom, he just wanted attention like babies do. Glad everything has worked out and that you finally found the right pacifier. Keep up with the weening process. They do take awhile to feel comfortable being left alone out in the dark at night.

Is it possible to spoil your car?

Never mind, don't answer that...
