All reservists move up one.

My Neon won't last till the 3d quarter so I got a nice new shiny Yaris. I was working on 2 separate (in sequence) orphans at Cherry Hill. My dealer backed out on his first offer, then screwed up on the second (no A/C). They claimed they had no more yesterday so I got my deposit check back and went to my Toyota dealer where I had talked to a salesman before. I was concluding my paperwork and getting ready to take possession and my cell rang. It was the Smart dealer. I was done running back and forth with these people (being let down)and happy with my Yaris so I didn't take the call or return it. I got an e-mail later from Tad. He had another car for me. It was a Passion but not in my price range. Strike 3. Oh well, I think the fortwo was just not suppose to happen for me.

I will contact Smart for my $99. Who knows, maybe in another year or two I'll do a trade in on a diesel 'er sumpin' Good luck all with your Smarties. I'll be still hangin' around here reading your adventure stories and looking at your photos.

Cannot say I blame you, It is hard to wait when you need a vehicle. For me it is an extra so the wait is not a factor, but if I needed a car today I would be doing the same thing you did.

When you read about our smarts crapping out at 15,000 miles, you'll never look back. The Yaris is a better car - if you NEED a car.
The smart is a conversation piece that happens to be street legal. It's a joke and a toy, and should be sold in novelty stores.

I can say that about smart - I drive one.

Purple gem, the poster is just prophesizing. One of the many opinions free speech allows. Obviously the car won't crap out at 15,000 miles. It's programmed to happen at 24,001 miles!
