It looks like the line may be getting shorter. I am an 1183. The dealer called over a month ago with the 30 day warning but now they can't seem to find the car. They said it may show in May but maybe as late as July.

Hard to stay excited. That is why we started to shop for a different car.

If it is this difficult to buy something can you imagine what it would be like if it broke? I am sure smart will get it fixed one of these days. I applaud all of you who are taking the bullets for the rest of us.

It's the hatchback and a real nice car. I'm real happy with it and can't wait to see the mileage. I'm reading that this car should get in the high 30s for mpg. I have a manual transmission and don't do a lot of city driving. I was with the C. Hill dealer before they got their facility ready for it. I was helping the salesman with info from SCOA and he appreciated it enuff that I was offered an orphan in the middle of January. Things just never worked out. So, yes, LOL, I am now YarisBob. hehehe Thanks for all your well wishes. I'll be here, as I said, reading your adventures and seeing your pics. It'll be real cool to see how things progress throughout the year.

sorry to hear we have had some more drop. Checked today and the DDe slipped my delivery date two more days so now could be end of July. However, the good news is the email from my dealer alerting me that he has been notified production of the car will begin soon and delivery could be expected within 90 days - or about mid-July at latest.

I WANT to believe - Okay! I was dancing and doing yipiee's when I got the email. Now for the VIN so I will know it really has been produced!

Hehehe My DDE no longer exists. I guess they got the snail mail request for my $99 refund. Now you can all officially move up one. I'm hearing more Smart spotter reports in my area now. My friends walk up and tell me when they see the little buggers on the road. Cherry Hill had about 25 in their lot last week. Since they're all technically sold I should be seeing a lot more out there. Hang in there reservers!
