Linkage problem.

So far I haven't seen any thing on the Canadian site and they did get their NA 451s a couple of months ahead of us.

I agree with August8pm we need a "Known Issues" forum.

I'll be picking my car up in the next couple weeks and being able to check out this info would be a big help.

A2Jack.

Every new car will have some growing pains. This seems very minor overall. I have a 2008 Honda Fit Sport with less that 3000 miles, and I already got a recall notice on it. Moisture from driver's shoes may seep into the floor and cause problems with the wiring for the passenger airbag. I think there's also an error in the program setting for the rear wiper. I'm not concerned by either and am waiting until the car is ready for an oil change to do the recall and the 3000 mile check.

Relax!

This is not your grandfathers Honda !

GliderDude. We are not dealing with Honda here, but with Smart/PAG. Their record of non-communication and response to our questions has been very dismal indeed.

We need to be on top of this stuff, and not wait to be had. I'll bet your Honda site has a list of known service problems, Why not here?

Hey dude, I'd like to see if you would be laid back when you couldn't shift or remove your key. ;)

To all Smart-waiters: Read this one

This is just the sort of post we smart-waiters are waiting for. We get to hear a lot of real world experience before we decide. Some good, some not so good. Waiting is a Smart move.

MIne is in the shop for the same exact thing. But I could put it in park, but not start it in park. I had to use neutral to start it.
