Another oil leak...ARGH!

My 2009 with 750 miles is leaking engine oil from the driver side of the engine.
I'll inform of the outcome.

Mine leaked in the same spot it was the oil pan where it meets the engine block. It is an easy fix , drop pan and reseal . Bob.

UPDATE:

The dealer said it was the pan seal but after 16 hours labor it is still not fixed. They now claim that it's the engine coolant temp sensor leaking. Correct me if I'm wrong but the radiator isn't full of Mobil 1 is it?

Doubtful, but I've worked on a handful of engines where the oil pump and the coolant pump are different ends of the same assembly. My Goldwing is that way. I dont know if that's how the Mitsu in the smart is, but if so, it gives a great little spot to have a mystery leak that can be either oil or coolant. It's especially great when the leak is only internal! Then you have oil IN the coolant or vice versa, with no external dripping!

Nice, making it hard to determine if it's that seal or the head gasket.

Well, they put red dye in the engine and green dye in the compressor. That leaves clear for the tranny. Now I drive for a week and return with the results.

I have 800 miles on my 09 passion and it started leaking oil too. Seems that two oil pan bolts are dripping(ever so lightly leaves a half dollar mark in driveway) but also at the bellhousing it is wet to and I think it is running down the pan lip onto the bolts.
