Here is another find. a 2009 SMART CAR CABRIOLET that is all electric.. too bad it isn't made by smart. Nice how they use the smart name just to draw attention..

These guys are actually in my area. I found them on craigslist right before I purchased a smart. Would have bought the electric car if its top speed was higher that 25MPH. They will be bringing the faster rated car to the states in the next couple years, but they expect to sell for $30k.

Interestingly enough if your read all the way through the listing, they say they use a smart take off frame...

Guys... this one isn't going away... the vehicle actually exists and is approved for use... They completely disclosed that it's a knock off... don't see the issue.

It's blatantly against eBay policy to use keywords in the title in an attempt to lure in buyers. By advertising it as a ' 2009 Smart Cabrolet 2009 Smart' in large bold letters is certainly meant to deceive. Sorry, Bill - it's a no-no.
It's a Coco Kandi NEV with limited speed and range - and it shouldn't be touted as a "smart car"~! No matter what planet you're from....
I filed a complaint yesterday with the vendor and eBay... the vendor's response was "k" - that's it....

USA Dot approved vehicle & frame a take off of the Smart car Mercedes Benz.

A take off, not as in "taken from" but as in "to imitate; to mimic; to impersonate." This thing is a Chinese NEV kit car but is offered on eBay as a smart car in the listing. Note the company name - "smartcarts." Just close enough to confuse the unwary. Deceptive advertising IMHO.

Update: as of 5:30 EST the listing shows "ended."

Heck, not only should smart take issue, but the fact they also use Mercedes Benz it catch keywords should get some folks higher up kind of pissed.
