Any deliveries spotted YET?

I'm under the impression that our cars are scheduled to begin arriving today or tomorrow at most dealerships. That means there's a very good chance that they are loaded on car haulers and moving down the highways about now.

Has anybody actually seen any of these vehicles traveling to the dealerships or being unloaded at dealerships? I think it would be interesting to hear when they are actually seen arriving.

Many of us live hours from anywhere close to where they will be traveling or unloading so we have to live vicariously through those who live in those proximities.

Cars are leaving the ports today for the more distant dealers. My dealer is 45 minutes away from the port, our truck doesn't get in until tomorrow or Wednesday.

Tracking?

Is there any way to track the status of cars after they leave the port? Just seems silly I can track a letter sent by UPS but can't track a car being shipped across country!

Congrats/Grateful/Cruise control...

Congratulations to those of you who will soon be touching and driving your long-awaited, richly deserved smartcars.

Many of us are really grateful for the excellent information provided here. My hope is that the USA will embrace the debut. I shall continue my quest for an orphan throughout the year, and look forward to more configuration options (cruise control-2009?).

Well done Penske!
