I tried that, told a questioner that it was a Tata and cost $2500. They didn't buy it as I was surrounded by $7000 golf carts...

Earlier this week, We were showing this car off to some friends on our driveway when this guy rides up in a 2wd small pu and ask, "Is that one of those $2500 cars?".

At the time, I had no idea what he was talking about or why he would even ask.

I guess he knew about this Nano car that I didn't. I finally saw it this week on the internet.

Yes, a couple of times! It's funny because they don't know what the Tato Nano is either!

Yes, that is one of the frequent questions. I tell them that the Nano will never come to the USA. Can't meet NHTSA/EPA standards. Then proceed to tell them about my smart. As gas prices continue to climb we can be sure that more and more folks will know what smart is!!

I was at a Shell station and the attendant was from India (or of Indian descent) and asked if it was a Tata Nano. I told him it was a Smart car. He said the Tata Nano got better gas mileage.
