What a differance in the call center! When you call you get a little differant greeting ie: push 1 for this push 2 for that, etc. I pressed one to get a rep on the phone and she was more than willing to answer any question...no more of that stupid script reading goin on. She did ask for my confirmation number and said " wow, you are really close. you will get your car in the first quarter of 2008. The dealer that will be in your area will not be open in time so you will have to travel a bit to the next closet dealer. The next closet dealer already has your info and should be contacting you very soon!"
To me, this is great news b/c up until this point no one could give me a straight answer about if my local dealer is not complete, do i have to wait or can i take delivery from the next closest? Also, having an official Smart rep telling me that I am close has gotten me all excited again.
Would love to hear who else has spoken with them today.
