anyone else have a car coming in the HOEGH ASIA?

I have been trying to get tracking but looks like it's at high sea, I have been waiting since March 30 2007 for my Smart and am so happy I finally know it's on the HOEGH ASIA due in Baltimore on May 1st!

Ive been tracking this ship also since my car is on it too!

IVe been looking on the ships home page and it looks like it will be in a April 30. Here is the link:

Now the big question is, how long does it take to get it on a railcar to here. In my case, MN. Or however they ship them from Baltimore. Im hoping to have my car by midmonth. What do you think?

the HOEGH ASIA must be made by smart as well, since it appears that it's entire cargo capacity is only 2 smarts.

Mine's on there too (destination Buffalo)! I'm glad to hear that it's in transit, because the cargo status just shows it loaded on the ship on 4/21 and then nothing. Sounds like it doesn't update to show it's in transit, eh? If that's true, that will help alleviate my frustration. I was tempted to call Matt Lauer to stop there on his way around the world and kick some shipping butts!

I wonder how many different shipping companies smart is using.
Did you guys learn from the dealer the shipping company and name?

i got the vin from my dealer and used this board to locate the websites for the cargo tracking etc. When I called my dealer and told them it would be in the port on May 1st they asked how I knew that info...hehe...

At least you know its on a boat and possibly got your VIN number in advance... I had zero information up untill the dealer called with the "its in the port, should be about 3 weeks before we open and can deliver" which was 6 weeks before I got my smart.
