I especially enjoy messing with the people who try to pass everyone on the right.
When traffic is slow and the right lane is open, do you feel it's inappropriate to pass on the right? It is illegal in a state or two (I'm not mentioning names, Connecticut) but sometimes it's a more effective way for traffic to flow. If the slower people aren't using the right lane, why leave it vacant?
Unless, of course, you were talking about the shoulder.

I didn't explain that very clearly, I guess -- The scenario is a long line of vehicles in the left lane trying to get past a group of slower vehicles in the right lane. Everyone in the left lane has lined up behind the lead vehicle going slightly faster than the right lane vehicles.
Along comes a self-important a-hole who runs up the right lane, passing by everyone in the left lane -- then he tries to muscle his way into the left lane at the front of the line.
That's a very different situation than light traffic where you can easily pass individual slow clueless dummies who won't move out of the left lane!
What the #$@* is up with the DANCING tailgaters???
Twice in the past several weeks, I've looked in my rear view mirror to see what what riding my ass and have been scared to death by what I saw. I'm used to seeing the blank stare of someone who's mind isn't on driving, but this is really insane. Young guys, 5 or 10 feet off my rear at 45 MPH, dancing!!! I mean, both arms flailing, bouncing up and down in their seats! They look as if they're having some sort of fit. Alarming, to say the least under any situation, but right on my butt. Jezzzz

What you didn't see there is the girl bent over into his seat area that was hidden by the dash.
I have found that turning on the parking lights briefly, or tapping the brake lightly, so as to "flash" the brakelights briefly, will often send a message to the clueless.
I had issues with people tailgating. Not always, but most common are large SUV's and monster pickup trucks. I find it funny that some of these vehicles are chromed out with no hitch to pull a boat/trailer. Not that I have any problem with these vehicles, but in a few instances, I knew the drivers were doing it on purpose. I purchased a 3" X 8" bumper sticker online a few months ago that reads, "My OTHER AUTO IS A .45". There have been no issues since. Perhaps it makes he or she think twice about the other driver. Not a bad investment for $3 and the stickers come in black, red, blue and yellow.
