Move to the left.

My other car is a 1993 Acura Legend Coupe 6speed.
No one dares abuse me on the road in that thing, especially since it's almost as long as a 4 door sedan.

Anyways, the point I'm trying to make is, you have to adapt your driving style to which car you drive. I cant possibly drive my Smart the same way I drive my Legend. I'd get run off the road. The pure physics of not having a nose also allows for other folks to 'dart' in front of you w/ no regard. Can't really pull those stunts when you have a big nose in front of you. I drove my father's Jaguar once and I felt like the king of the road, esp. in traffic in NYC when other people were trying to cut in front of me. In a smart? I would have been getting cut off left and right

Better yet - just pull your E-Brake. NO brake lights! They'll quickly think that they may have encountered a seriously crazy person and just go around and be on their way or back off - whatever they are able to do to get away from that nutcase in the tiny car.

I'm fed up with these dang road bullies especially the ones like the BMW drivers who think I'm rich so I own the road. </RANT>
fpage - Were you quoting from a previous post on another thread? I've written almost the same thing before and on multiple forums! Seems like 90% of the time a BMW driver is reckless (they have got have crazy high insurance since it seems that most (not all) of them drive recklessly.). Last time I said an unkind word about BMW owners I was burned at the stake so I have to say my disclaimer now: Most but NOT ALL BMW drivers are reckless Type A type of people just itching to cause a wreck.

Funny you should say that. I was following a BMW (it was a dealer courtesy car) that was for once driving decent and I was 1.5 car lengths behind him in a 35mph zone when some jacka$$ in a new Ford truck pulls right in the open slot between us. Mind you, there was NO car IN FRONT OF or BEHIND us. If I wouldn't have been heading somewhere there is a good chance I would have gotten out of the car and beaten some sense into that idiot. What the heck are people thinking? (FWIW, I was driving my Yaris)

I suppose that would be another reason for tailgaters. Scared of someone taking the open space.

Stupid people tail gate you no matter what you drive. My dream device is a button on the car, that when pressed, lights the break lights AND plays the sound of tires screeching.

I'm sure such a device would be illegal, but boy would it be fun...

My dream device would be a clear OLED screen just on the inside of the back window where one can show messages to any one behind you; especially tailgater's.

I'd like to have this for the tailgaters.

Bonus points for anyone who figures this out and what it's from.
