there doesn't seem to be a lot of logic to the process of the e-mails. i'm in San Diego and it appears that i am either #2 or #1 on the order list for the SD dealer and i just now got my e-mail whereas others from the SD dealer got theirs last night. it may be true that they are just notifying the people on the 1173 list no particular order.

Hmmm...well, when I talked to my dealer on Wed. she said I'd be getting an email from smartUSA with info on who my dealer is (duh) and kind of an idea of where I am in que. Well, I'd think that info would come from HER...my dealer. I was kind of expecting something more like what dancote got. Oh well...I'll be a little more patient.

ARRRRRG. For just a minute there I thought....maybe. Nope.
Isn't this something that should have come some time ago, or is this something new to pass the time? Did everyone else get this type of letter after confirming?

I also got a phone call about 2 hours later, just reconfirming my confirmation was confirmed.

wow that's crazy. they must be really backed up. i got my confirmation back the same day i submitted it. has anybody else seen this?

After yesterday getting a call from the dealer in Germantown MD (Washington DC suburb)

Then I e-mailed the MBUSA VPC Manager, and he told me that 830 of them had arrived this week and were being preped for shipment next week.

The dealer told me to expect it by the end of next week
