anyone having this problem? (Re: maintenance service indicator)

The "needs maintenance" indicator is supposed to be easy to turn off after you have the required work done, according to the manual. After we had maintenance done, we could not turn it off....and neither could our mechanic! SMART dealership told us we had to have the maintenance work done by THEM in order to turn off the indicator. Anyone out there having this problem?

or

Maintenance indicator reset (service wrench)

I did have a bit of a challenge with mine, but I eventually got it.

It takes a few trys and is a timing thing, do it and continue to do it until you get it right but it does work
