anyone instal front and rear bumper guards?

I'm thinking about getting a set but would like to see them installed and real world pics. If anyone has them or know of a site where i can see some cars with them I'd appreciate the links..

Isn't the point of the bumper to protect the car? So now you can buy something to protect the protector so its protected?

Sure they look nice but what happens when the protector that protecting the protected car gets scratched...Looks like we'll find a way to protect that too!

I like it a LOT more than Billet's two verticals.
The front looks OK too.

My thoughts exactly. Next we will have Bumper protector protectors

I'm sure these will help to protect the panels, but they cost more than a complete set of replacement panels, so I guess I just don't see the point.

I'm not interested in it for protecting the bumper. I like the look , I think it gives the lil smartie a tuff look. Also modern bumpers are so flimsy and after one little bump into something and you'll have cracks in the paint. Plus more chrome is always cool

really looks kinda , but i agree......i don't want that way cool chrome to get messed up, so we need a some sort of protector for the aftermarket protector which protects the OE protector.

Just saw these at my local Smart center, great quality! I also thought it was chrome and the sales person informed me that it was 100% stainless

When mine comes in, I'll install since I live in NYC and parking is a problem. Don't think they are meant to protect in case of accident but to stop people from bumping and dinging your fenders.

I know they cost more than having the panels replaced but I don't want to drive around with my bumpers full of "pits" from others hitting me.
