Use 3M 180 Controltac........

Hi, I own a graphics company that produces these type of graphics.
I'm also waiting for my triple black passion to arrive next week.......
Vehicle wraps are only as good as the installer applying them. They must be done correctly. If you want to remove them its not a problem, a heat gun to soften the adhesive bond & it will peel of leaving NO residue. 3M 180 Controltac was invented just for this application.
Good Luck with your Cars!

Desperately Seeking Wrapping

I am dying to get someone to sponsor a wrap for my Yellow/Black Passion (in transit from across the pond) There are a few companies online that promise "up to $400 per month" but so far, none of them seems to be legit. Everyone asking for $ to get on a list of potential candidates. Screw that! I think that the interest is so great in these little cars that advertisers should be leaping at the chance to wrap my car. Am I nuts?

I think, it's an absolutely "Brilliant" idea. I may begin checking it out, however, will not pay anyone to provide me a list of company names. Has anyone else, checked into this? What is the "Average" or "Typical" monthly rate going? It might, make the payment !!

My cousin in Germany drove a Smart for a year for $99 EU a month. It had advertising (wrapping). A win-win deal... she had a car and the advertiser got mobile exposure! Seems like an easy way to have a Smart imho..

If you google smart car wraps , the same program exists in Australia. You have to agree to drive their smart a certain amout of miles and stay in one region. Every so often they change the wraps. Great idea, might be a few years before enough smarts are over here for it to work in U.S.A.

Does anyone have any drawings or diagrams of the smart I can give to my vehicle wrap/vinyl guy? I'd like to get stuff on there ASAP after I get the car.

came across this today in Chicago Tribune ...

will post in the Mid-west forum as well, I'm sure they would have some interest in those with smart cars in metro-Chicago:

again, this is just passing the info, don't know anything other than seeing the ad in today's Chicago Tribune Business section!

Looked at their address, appear to very close to the Lincolnwood smart center
