Garage
Originally, when smart was first introduced in Germany and Switzerland (we're talking of 1998-9), sponsors will exchange adds on cars for maintenance: a smart owner will get all his maintenance costs covered by the sponsor as long as the sponsor's messages were on the car. No more!

You'll need wings, and a stinger of course.;)

Love the wraps but it was all in German. Play around with it until you hit on the right word and you are in for a treat. No bumble bee yet.

I found this SMART car template online if anyone interested.

http://www.istockphoto.com/file_clos...&refnum=665627

This site also has a very generic outline of one:

I PICKED UP MY SMART YESTERDAY! And I have an appointment with the wrap guy on Monday (2/18). When I get them done I'll post some pictures.

There are a number of companies that will pay you to turn the car into a billboard. some enough to cover payments if you cover enough ground in the right areas

Doess anyone have a technical view of the car? I am waiting for mine (passion) and I want to have the graphics scheme already figured out.

I am looking for the "tech views" or line drawings of the car. That way I can create a template that can be used in corel draw of illustrator to do you designs. I just want to make sure everything is to scale.

Don

PS the wait is killing me!

Our wrap company has told us that the only way to properly remove wrap would be to use heat and solvent. Because the panels are not metal, they would not respond well to either. If you plan on wrapping your smart, don’t expect to be able to remove it later.
