Just got my April 2009 Consumer Reports. smarts are listed third for mileage in stop and go traffic. They rate fifth for highway and third overall. The report includes hybrids.
Just got my April 2009 Consumer Reports. smarts are listed third for mileage in stop and go traffic. They rate fifth for highway and third overall. The report includes hybrids.
Funny they had a review that I saw on my local tv station where they bashed the smart.
It seems like someone at Consumer Reports doesn't like the Smart at all but it's good to hear there's a comparison based on real information rather than opinion. It's hard to argue against the numbers. Was the Smart beat out in these categories only by hybrids? Were there diesels in some top slots?
</sarcasm>Poor baby reporter! Apparently, when you turn a smart on, it doesn't return the favor and his love of Caddy has caused him to believe that your car should "return the favor". <sarcasm/>
lol.they rated it the worst car they tested in recent memory..yet..it scored excellents across the board. One of the things they mention as a negative was that it seats just two people. Yet..>I don't see a similar complaint about corvettes, or other two seat cars. DUH!!! They really need to rethink something because they're losing credibility with their treatment of the smart.
