Argh! I thought I knew what I wanted

I have configured my Smart as a blue with silver tridion.

Yesterday we went to the Round Rock Smart dealership and test drove one -- first time behind the wheel. Now I can't wait to get mine.

But....

Eric fell in love with the bumble bee (yellow with black tridion).

Although I had my heart set on blue, I see his point. The bumble bee is cute! And they're discontinuing yellow, which would make it even more special and unique.

I've also considered changing my car to blue with black tridion, so I can get yellow panels if I decide I want them (yellow with silver looks pretty pukey in the picture I saw of one in Europe).

So now I have to decide. And since I'm really struggling, I thought I'd ask for the opinions of complete strangers.

Seriously, I'd appreciate your thoughts, as it will help me sort out mine.

I've seen both in person and while I think the yellow has more stand out factor the blue is also a very nice color. In the end we aren't going to be able to tell you what you like. As for the collectibility of yellow I wouldn't factor that into my purchasing buy what you like. Good luck!

Thanks. But that's my problem. I like both!

I figured asking for other people's thoughts would help me sort through my conflicting ones.

Not that it matters, but when we get our next one it will be yellow - if yellow is still available.

Yellow is far too happy of a color. Go with the blue/silver. Someone, i forget who, had one of those in Pensacola and it looked sharp. If I didn't have all-black, I'd have gotten the blue/silver.

Or if you can't decide, purchase another panel kit and swap out or go all Punky Brewster on it. One red, one yellow, one blue... do they make green?

You may be re-configuring for a 2009 model.Hang in there.

Multiple Reservations=more flexibility=moreDDE's=more confusion

You can order the yellow panels today and you will have them a long time before your car gets here. In the mean time you can tape all the panels together in your garage, complete the illusion with some discarded tires, and it will almost look like you have a smart. It might even fool the neighbors.
