I ordered the Yellow/Black Passion

My DDE is 7/35 to 10/23/08. I first reserved the red/black, and then decided to confirm the Yellow/Black passion. But sometimes I wish I would've went with the Cabriolet. I wonder how many other people change there mind during the year long wait?

Well, this is a very timely discussion, because I just applied for the waiting list. I initially put down blue/silver, but now I'm thinking about a 2nd color set of panels, and I think the black goes with more colors than the silver (although I've always felt that the tridion *should* be silver). Can I change my color reservation on the waiting list?

Now, the question is what 2 body colors look best together, in case I want to mix/match a bit? Red/Yellow? Blue/Red? Blue/Yellow?

Color is a really personal choice. My wife liked black or yellow, but it's my car, and my favorite color is blue. Mine has the silver tridion, and while the yellow is very nice, and it's agreed that the yellow is molded throughout (which is why I have ChipGuard). Anyway, when the car has just been washed, and the Gods bless us here in Washington state with some sunshine, and I walk out and see the metallic blue glittering in the sunlight..........it's AWESOME!! I also think, personally, that the silver tridion is much, much classier looking than the black! Now........as soon as I get the chance to use the Rejex that I just bought, it'll be looking even better!!! No matter WHAT color you choose, you'll be happy!! IMHO

I'm kind of new to the forum, and today I read that yellow is the only molded-in color. Is that true? If so, gotta have yellow, even if I need to order an extra set of panels. This is how all the colors should be.

Just say no to paint!

The changeable body panels are available in six colors - deep black, light yellow and crystal white are standard, while blue metallic, red metallic and silver metallic are offered for an additional charge. The metallic colors are the painted colors, e.g. blue, red, and silver are painted on black panels. The non-metallic colors are solid, e.g. black, yellow & white, are the solid molded colors!

Well, I did it. I sent the official request to change from blue/silver to yellow/black. I liked that yellow is an impregnated rather than painted color. And I can always buy more color panels.

Of course, the name Dory won't work anymore. Now I need something original that's bee-oriented.
