I assumed that the gas door always stayed open no matter what.
It was just always open whenever I needed it, it would be open.
So if it's always open when I needed it, it's always open period.

Well I was showing my mom my smart car yesterday and showing her how you have to hit the unlock button twice to open passenger door and rear trunk lid, etc..... and I then closed up shop and then tried to open the gas door.

It didnt open

So... remember kids. Never ASSume.

This car is so well made, it amazes me every day.

If the car is completely locked gas cover locks too. When you hit unlock once on the key which unlocks driver door the gas cover unlocks too.

If you open the gas door, then lock everything else, you will be unable to latch the gas door. Happened to the wife the other day...... Yes as shocking as it sounds.... SHE BOUGHT GAS!!!! when she used my car!!!!!!!

Wait...that happens. I was told that if a woman were to attempt to fill up a vehicle they instantly gain 80 pounds and their hair and teeth fall out. She said that is what has been happening in Eastern Kentucky. I must have been lied to.
