Beating the heat--Sold on California Pop Top

It has been brutally hot here in Central TX. Multiple days over 100deg and climbing every day.

My poor smart sits out in this heat everyday while I'm working. I just remembered today, I ordered a California Pop Top, when I bought my car in February. I put it on at work this morning and was totally amazed at the temp difference in the cars interior. It was 102 when I left work and the A/C cooled the car instantly.

Outstanding product...

Thanks, I think I'll get one. As long as it holds up to Alabama / Texas rain and wind, this could just be one of the best $50 purchases I've made.

I've had mine for almost a year. Fast and easy on and off. I was amazed after using it for the first time under late spring SoCal solar heat. After taking it off, the interior was much cooler than the outside temperature. My car sits outside 24/7 and the top is clear with no crazing or spider webbing just like the day I bought it. If caught installed in the rain, the Tyvek PopTop will air dry much quicker than a heavier traditional car covers. At night, it also protects the poly top from the claws of sleeping neighborhood cats.

We liked it so much we recently became the distributor for the company and now stock the product for quick delivery. Here is the direct link:

The quality is good and it is really easy to use and put away.

Absolutely! I have mine, very happy with it! My car's about 20 degrees cooler in the 110 degree heat here in Nor Cal. Plus it keeps that industrial waste-like green tree pollen off my car, as well as bird poop and sap. Very easy to clean also!

Jas...

Recently acquired one myself for the birds. They learned to aim lower, though. Didn't realize we had such marksman.

The cover has a four-point system to hold it in place. Front flap under the wipers, mirror pockets with elastic bands on each side and elastic around rear that goes on the rear window (plus the security cord that you can place inside the back window before you close it). If the wind is sufficient to take the cover, the car is probably going with it. (i.e. a tornado)

So how does it fold up? Just like any other fabric or are their wires...?
