The mfg link (near first post) has a video showing that it rolls up and then ties into itself, inside-out so any dirt is kept inside and theoretically it won't dirty up its storage area. Kind of like a sleeping blanket. But lots smaller.

Rolls up to about 12" long and 12" high. Less if you tightly pack it. I used mine today. Always cooler inside the car than outside with the pop-top on.

I own one also and I find it well designed. It does everything I need for my Passion coupe, clean top and windows, easy on and off, cool leather interior! One of the best $ to performance extras I've ever bought.

Just ordered mine from Smart Madness. You guys take Paypal - awesome, I didn't have to get off my lazy backside to find a credit card.

After dealing with the heat index of 114, I'll spend 50-60 bucks to solve the heat problem. The car cools off after about 4 miles. My commute is only 4.5.

The feeling of hundred and fourteen is bad but I'd give up my Smart to have a 4.5 mile commute. I'd be riding my bike everyday instead of driving 45 miles to work. Anyway, the Pop Top should cool things down. Enjoy it.

Garage
Will have one shortly; cheaper than tinting and stops the bird bombs!

Agreed. Great product. I leave the top down from April straight through to November. I orginally bought a car cover for my cabrio when I first got my smart to keep leaves, bird poop, prying eyes and the sun out of my car because I dislike putting the bars in to put the top up.

But the cover was a pain the the a**. I can't remember how I first learned of the Cal Pop Top, but I'm their biggest fan. It does everything I want it to and is easier to install than a regular car cover.

PS -- anyone want a high-end car cover cheap?

Thank you for your order. We sold out over the weekend, but a new shipment arrived this afternoon so your cover is on the way. :-)

I like the CPT high-ever...

Upon further review, after one breezy day, there are remnants of the cover in my top along the high points along the side which I thought was odd because I didn't think Tyvek would degrade (or degrade that quickly, easily).

Since this happened this week, I haven't had time to see if it will come off with a car wash (I do know it didn't blow off on the drive).

In use, the temp difference is nice and the CPT is easy to use. I just hope my ragtop cleans up.
