beep beep beep beep beeooeeooeeoooeeoooo

The past couple of days (never before), I've had some alarm issues. Sometimes, not always, when I lock the car I hear four beeps (instead of the normal one or two) then the alarm goes off. Unlock, lock, half the time it goes off again and the other half it doesn't.

Important things to note:
-The car was in last weekend to have the doors adjusted (squeaking) and the roof re-sealed.
-My alarm is not a factory unit, it's an aftermarket add-on (a Hornet model 727T). The dealer had it installed at an outside shop of their choice before purchase, it's not something I had done on my own.

Back to the dealer?

I did a search but didn't find a solution. Any suggestions?

After Market Alarm is between you and your dealer.

I'm sure you won't find much help here. Only thing to think about is if they adjusted the doors some sensor may need to be adjusted and thats between your dealer and the aftermarket shop

Take it in and tell them to make it right...

You have a few variables working here, but I had an infrequent alarm problem with a previous vehicle (not a Smart). The alarm seemed to like to go off when the battery in the key fob control was low. So, to throw one more variable into the mix. . .
