Beeping?

I keep getting a beeping sound - not very often but regularly - when I shut off the car. It sounds the same as the lights-left-on beep, but it will never stop until I restart the car. Any ideas what this is? Once I turn the car on then off, its fine.

You are removing the key too quickly, everything has not had time to shut down properly.....just turn it off, wait a second THEN remove key: no need to "restart".

It is your car telling you to slow down and enjoy life. Happens sometimes to me, just put the key back in, turn the car on and then off again, wait a few seconds and pull the key.
