this car spotting site found a fortwo brabus in NYC - the post says that the 5-speed automated tranny is an improvement over the base model. has anyone tried it out? are the shifts quicker and less awkward? is this thing really a performer or marketing hype?
The Brabus has the same transmission improvements as the other 2009 cars. I did notice on the photos, that the Brabus logo on the hood and the trunk are incorrect and must have been added aftermarket. My Brabus coupe performs the same as the Passion and Pure, but does handle a bit better because of suspension and tire and wheel upgrades.
