Black vinyl clearner/polisher

What does anyone/everyone use to clean/andor/polish the black vinyl that goes all around the bottom of the car? It appears I got some Rejex on it when I polished the car, and it has left a white residue on it. Regular car wash suds do not remove it.

Thanks,
Mike

Best stuff for the black vinyl stuff on the smarties and any other car is good old WD40 on a cloth, it also get the white/grey residue off and then protects the plastic, you only need to do it about once a year.
The black rubber on the car can be cleaned and protected with silicone spray lube, don't use WD40 on rubber it perishes it.

Pig Spit (Harley-Davison dealer or ebay)

Mother's Back-to-black (most auto parts chain stores)

These can both be used on plastic or rubber safely...

First I use Meguiar's #39 Heavy duty vinyl cleaner on really dirty spots, like the floor matts, and then Meguiar's #40 vinyl and rubber cleaner & conditioner on all the interior and exterior rubber and plastic and tires - works fantastic.

I recently tried Meguire's Ultimate Protectant ($10) and it is the best product I have used yet for both restoring and protecting exterior matte black plastic. I prefer it to both the super concentrated Black Wow ($25, expensive and strong, but oily and not any longer lasting than Meguire's), and Mothers Back-to-Black ($5.70 Provides a good but not very durable finish).

303 Protector. It is a UV protector. I got some wax on my gray/black areas and this took it right off and protected at the same time.

I used it on all of the black on my smart and it came out great. Spray on the tires too and they look great for a LONG time without using anything else.
