I tried to just "turn my head" but I have a terrible time seeing past the two headrests and the tridion cell on either side behind the windows. And for that, I will consider these to be blindspots. I can't see past these blind spots without having to twist and turn and lean and stretch, especially when backing out of a parking space.
I also like the side mirrors out a bit, but not waaaay out. I like a little overlap... just the way I was raised in the automotive life! So I spent four bucks, got the little stick-on rounded mirrors and put them on the outer corners of my exterior mirrors and now I can see behind me and out a bit at the same time which makes me much much happier when backing out!
As far as the rearview mirror... Major blindspot. I took it off and replaced it completely with a thin car mirror that I got for $12 at Kragen. It is placed just under the roof line and I have the entire windshield to myself now!
