I went to the Victoria Gardens Mall today and when I came back to my car I had a gift leaning against it. It was a picture of Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean. My car has a pirate theme so it fits. The note said " to the owner of the black pirate smart car I hope you enjoy!"

Very Random and Odd but nicer then coming back to my car and finding a ticket or worse! Thanks to who ever it was!

I got a random gift once-- About a year ago, I was at Savage Mill (an antiques and gift shopping area place built in a historic textile mill in Savage, Maryland) and came out to find a tiny little MicroMachine smart propped on my windshield wiper! It matched my car exactly (red/black). The donor even placed a small square of light-colored cloth behind it and tucked under the wiper so I would be sure to see it!
I was so touched I got teary-eyed.
The micro smart has lived ever since on top center of my dash, affixed with a bit of tacky putty.

Wow...I am surprised the pic of Jack Sparrow wasn't taken before you got to your car (oh so little faith in humanity, I know). The micro-car thingie is cute.

I got a random gift from a stranger once, too!

A man approached me and zippy in a parking lot and after asking some questions, he said he'd just been to IKEA. He shows me this large bag of chip clips he got and proceeds to separate out all the pink ones and give them to me! They're a very close match!

The pink clips are cool, but I'd trade for Jack Sparrow any day! (Or Errol Flynn)
