Seems like the rip-off is calling it Brabus and it being a dress-up package. No performance gain. Why bother?

...Godfather...as always... the voice of reason....

..getting a water down Brabus is IMHO ,and that's all ,MHO...not a smart buy..

...save the $..get a Pure or Pasion and add one of the many body kits available from the supporting vendors....mix and match from them and have something that really is different...

ditto Godfather

I thought the same thing. The Brabus is basicly a ground effects kit. I will wait for the the real version that you know they will eventually put out, meanwhile I'm still waiting for my white cab with silver tridon. I may jazz it up, when arrives.

Debby, when I configured my Brabus, it listed the upcharges for the silver body and tridion. Regardless, though, I think any business needs to honor what they tell ther customers, mistake or not.

Regarding the power steering, it is included on my demo at no upcharge, and it is listed on my car's sticker.

Terry,

What!? You're not out in your baby? Good to know they didn't charge you for the Power Steering. I know it is only 400.00, but I'm a principle kind of girl.

I looked at the brabus at Milwaukee smart center. And it had front and rear brabus lowers, exhaust, springs, bilstein struts and shocks, mono paint, and interior trim. But lets be honest, we all were hoping for a brabus tuned turbo motor.

I think you did the right thing in not getting the floor model. The $400 is the 09 price, but he was ripping you off of an alarm and 50 miles that were on the car. He drove it off the lot more then one time, so I would consider it more then used and would say, $1500 for used car bud. If they did not go for it, then F them and wait on your car. It's not that far out and it is configured to your specs and your cost.

The one I seen at the dealer had the springs on it, the new muffler, wheels and ground kit. Not sure if it has the Turbo like in Europe. But I am sure with the different wheel size and springs, it would drive differently, and the MPG would be different due to the different exhaust also. I personally did not think it was worth the price over what I was getting. Especially when there are only two colors. Black and silver. Did not like that idea.
