Brabus suspension only drops the car by 1cm, that isn't worth the effort.

The exhaust is a Brabus branded piece of crap, always have been.
They use poor quality stainless that rusts in no time, the tips tarnish badly and they barely increase performance at all.

This will probably be no better than standard with the strange USA exhaust setup reducing the power in the first place.

I've said it before and i'll say it again. Anyone who buys a USA Brabus needs their head examining.
You are better off getting a normal smart and modifying it.
This is the perfect advice I have been looking for. Sorry, I haven't been following this forum closely so I have missed some of your past statements on this subject and didn't correctly interpret your earlier post on this thread. Knowing your background on this car, I'd say I have the answer I was looking for. A very sincere thanks !

Dampers (aka shocks) keep the springs from oscillating. So they should be a match for the spring and vehicle they are being used on. have fun

Wow, strong words. Why do you say that? Besides the US version not being "authentic", what else makes it better to get a normal smart and modify it?

You can't buy all of the brabus bits and fit them on a standard smart for the additional sticker amount of the USA Brabus. That along with the increased resale that comes with any 'limited' car is well worth added cost of the Brabus-edition smart.

And our exhaust isn't so bad, Kane. At least the cost of an aftermarket muffler isn't outrageous on this side of the pond ;)
