I can differ with that statement on at least one vehicle. My last automobile was an 05 Ford Five Hundred. One of the most common complaints from many owners was the excessive brake dust. Ford is an American manuf. with the Five Hundred being manuf'd in the US. Maybe it's not an "issue" for most US cars but seems it can be with some Fords.
