Bug in Smart Configurator

Don't know if this has been mentioned before, but I came across this problem while configuring this morning- There apparently is a bug in the configurator that if you preselect the leather seats from the "Appearance" page, it of course preselects the comfort package. But when you go to the "Options" page, the Interior option choice is not available , hence no choice for tach/clock pods!! The only way to add the pods is to deselect the comfort package, and low and behold the full list of options become available: Packages, Exterior, Interior, Safety and Functional/Electrical. (when the comfort package is preselected only Packages, Exterior and Safety are available to the left)

Looks like you are right.

I went back in and re-did my configuration and you're correct.
You have to deselect the package, go back , select everything you want and then go back and select it again. Then it "sticks".

That's strange, we somehow managed to configure/order both.. new bug? Have you tried changing the order of selection, choose pods and then comfort?

That Explains It

That must be how so many of us who ordered leather seats and the comfort package missed the fog lamps and factory alarm system.

Now I know why I didn't order the tach/clock. I must have selected the leather first. Drat, cost me an extra $100 to get them DIO and no alarm or fogs either.

I just called, they are WELL AWARE of the issue and this should be fixed on / by Monday.
