Busted BRABUS Link?/ Who ordered BRABUS?

haha the busted link in the e-mail made me laugh. I called them and they were "flustered" and said it happened to everyone. Then the new link did not work ("click here instead") and the old one did. Oh that smart tech team, they are classic.

I went ahead and got the black (loaded) BRABUS Cabrio. I figured it was worth it because the aftermarket has the price jacked waaaaayy to high for the body kits/suspension/exhaust/wheels. Think about it. It was only about 2,000 more for the BRABUS than the loaded passion cabrio, and that does not even cover BRABUS wheels on the "aftermarket"... Still wish that turbo was there though. oh well.. i'd almost rather have the gas mileage

YAY I FINALLY CONFIGURED!!! sorry i am so excited but i really need a car... lost the truck to hurricane Ike.

Configured my mom's as well. If I get it, she will buy my coupe and I'll take the Brabus black cabrio, that is if I am one of the selected few.

I just configured a Black coupe w/ fog lights and alarm.

Have any of you noticed that, seemingly, the Brabus SMART will not have all the available BRABUS options? Or am I reading into this too closely. For example:

steering wheel and shift knob described as "3-spoke leather steering wheel with shift paddles and leather gearshift knob" - Not described as BRABUS 3-spoke leather steering wheel or BRABUS gearshift knob

I also noticed that there was no mention of a BRABUS handbrake lever, BRABUS headlights, or BRABUS-labelled clock/tach/instrument cluster.

It will be nice if the US Brabus SMART comes with the above items. But, regardless, this car is a great value for what they are including.

I hope I am one of the lucky ones

Sorry, I guess I missed something. How did you configure a Brabus? When you were asked to configure your 2009, did that come up as an option? I confgured last month and I didn't see anything about that. Also, the configurator on the smartUSA site has nothing about a Brabus as well.

Is this some kind of early April Fools joke?

Yea, I just checked my email and I got one. I put in a request for a silver and silver coupe. Guess I'll sit back now and see if they take my order.
