A/C repair and water leak repair

I took my 09 passion in for service today. the a/c fan was not coming on, so they are going to replace the control unit. The seal on the rear window is leaking, so they are going to replace the seal. I was told the parts had to be ordered and would take a week to get here.

Before I told the service guy what was wrong with the car, he told me they would have to order parts, and would take about a week to get here. Is this normal?

The car only has 1,500 miles on it, and they didnt want to give me a loaner over night. They finally did after I complained. They told me the extended warranty didnt even cover a loaner. To me on a car this new with problems, they should be willing to help you more. What if this was my only car?

My rear window is not sealing as I said above. It is supposed to be raining here alll weekend. Are they going to pay for repairs if my car gets flooded this weekend?

Our AC condenser took a week. The MB dealers have to order the part from Smart. They don't stock parts.

We were under the impression that a loaner car was part of the warranty, both base (2/24) and extended. We extended ours to 5/60 for $995 and were told that it extended both the Roadside Assistance and the loaner-car aspects, which was half the reason we did it.
