CA Pop Top

I saw the thread for the California Pop Top, but I can't find it, even with the search. Anywhoo... I got mine today and it looks great. Pictures below:

I'll see if my car is any cooler inside after I finish work tomorrow.

just received my pop top today. fits like a glove! You can install it in about a minute. Very light weight, double stiched, two year replacement warranty. I have an email into the company, asking how snow will effect the material.

They must have sent them all at once - mine came today too. Though it's pouring rain so I'm going to wait to go out there and try it on.

Car Covers, Car Sun Shades - California PopTop
$49.95

Reference on the site to use in snow. They put the cover on before it snowed and just pulled the cover off and drove away.

It stopped raining so I put it on - and it looks like a shower cap up close too. But it sure is easier than fighting with a full size cover (even a very small one). It probably took about two minutes, but that was reading the directions at the same time.

But nscaler, I have a couple of questions. Did you open the hatch, put the strings inside, and then close the hatch? Yours seems to fit better than mine in the back. And I don't see your antenna. Did you take it off? I just left mine on and put the cover around it.

I got the cover tight and fed the string into the tailgate cracks. Then I opened the trunk and put the rest of the string inside. I can easily open and close the trunk.
The antenna is still on. This cover is on a cabrio. Maybe it fits better?

Mine's a cabrio too - I just went out and messed with it a little more (in the rain this time!) and I opened the hatch, pulled the string tight, and then closed the hatch. Much better than the way I had it before. Thanks!

One of these days I may spring for a BikeBarn (http://www.thebikebarn.net/smartbarn_model.html), but in the meantime if it lasts a couple of years this seems like a better alternative than my sunshade. I don't have a garage and live at about 6,000 feet 5 miles from the Mexican border. It's very sunny here.

Is there a Promo Code or any discount on the covers? I did a quick e-search and didn't get any returns but ordered one anyway. Gotta have it in Sacratomato!!
