It is summer and time to ride with the top down. Was wondering if anyone has taken the side bars off and put the top down, and then later tried to put the top back up with the bars still off. I have not made that mistake, but can visualize it, and wonder what happens. Has anyone done this and wants to confess what happens?
Yeah, what the others said. And, yeah, it's summertime and top down season ended months ago due to the heat, excepting overcast conditions. Even then, gotta run the A/C with the top open, which is really lame.
Thanks guys! Should have known Smart had a safety feature. Another learning experience, and glad no confessions. I can just imagine the top rolling off in your lap.
Driving with the bars OUT and the top UP to the roll bar (first position) makes a nice windbreak when on the highway?
My experience is that there is more turbulence in the cabin with the roof at stage one than there is with it all the way back. Normally, with the roof fully withdrawn I am able to light a cigarette while in motion ... not so with it half way back.
Sorry, I work at the National Cancer Institute and part of my job is to try to get all tobacco products banned in the USA?
At least we have gotten them banned from school campuses, hospitals and (hopefully soon?) military installations?
