That is what I thought, I figure they have quite a few radios just laying around in the back.

The car does have A/C and the winter mats in it though, so they were able to spend money on these items, oh and its blue so they spent extra money on the painted panels too! But no radio. . . . . . .

I got the call today... They had to take the top off again and put it back on to fix some performance issues they had with it, and now there is a rattle he can't find, so tomorrow he is going to bring in a tech who has the day off to help him figure out this rattle. I'm now supposed to have the car... Tuesday the 18th.

Hey guys! I GOT THE CAR BACK!!!!!

Here is what the invoice says

Customer states: When I opened top today it would not go into the second (lower) position. At this time it made a clicking noise. PLease advice on any possible repairs.

Both left and right side cassette have faulty shoe release locks. Allowing the main (first for forward and last for backwards motions) shoes to move in and out freely. This creates alignment issues of cables and first and second stage transitions.
Removed rear spoiler. Plastic motor trim panel. Top motor case. All three main and drive gears, removed the int. b pillar trim panels (on both sides) manually had to remove the top soft top section. Removed all fabric on the rear folding softtop. Removed rear cassette trim panels, removed both drive cables and housings w/ cassettes and cleaned out metal tube housings. Reattached working instock rear cassettes, drive cables, shoe assembly, electrical harness and new hardware. Separated the rear folding mechanism from the car and attached the new electrical harness. Reattached the folding mechanism to the top and performed its alignment procedure. Attached the top portion of the roof and aligned to the rear. Removed and replaced the int. top fabric due to scarring in the rear. Performed many basic operation test: passed. Currently car is OK.

Parts that were replaced.
Pull (A451-780-00-89) $8.71
Reinforcement (A451-776-00-16) $11.91
Pivot (A451-774-06-13) $13.35
Headliner (A451-778-01-82) $.

IN RE to rattle from this week.
Excessive gap between pin socket of roof cassette and B pillar lock pin. Resulting in a clicking noise over bumps. THe pins of the B pillar lock must be corrected toward the roof cassette lock socket I.E. there must be no gap between the sock and pin. Removed the B pillar trim and performed the realighment of the pin/lock assembly. Reattached all parts test drove: Passed. Currently car is OK.

I'll attach pics after I take some, they added some foam in the removeable roof sections to prevent it from rattling.

Extremely happy to have the car back!!

You have no idea how nice it is to listen to the radio, and how much better it sounds than the shower radio I had in the Radioless Pure.
