When your top is down - do you have trouble using or seeing out your rearview mirror?

Only a little trouble

With the top fully down, there is a "sliver" of visual space between the roll bar and the top.
Then there is "unlimited" visual space above the roll bar?

With your side mirrors adjusted properly (you shouldn't be able to see the sides of YOUR smart?) You can see almost anything behind you (unless they are really right on your tail?)

I prefer the rear portion (w/ rear glass window) to remain up; due to the restricted vision.

You can generally see enough of the truck tailgating you to know they are back there. <grin> With the side mirrors properly adjusted, it is no big deal that the lower part of the inside rear view is blocked.

It's less of a view but still sufficient. No matter how tall or short you are, you get the same view since it depends on where the mirror is placed and there's almost no changing that aspect. I don't find the limited view to be a problem or a safety concern.
