I`ll be getting mine done also, but I don`t think you will find a reputable shop(meaning standing behind their work) to do it for that price. I`ve had a few cars tinted in Florida and even my reg. cab Ranger was almost $200.
guess i feel fortunate to have a guy that's done my window tinting forever and i have N E V E R had an issue with his work.
on my Jeep Compass he charged me $50 for both the front door glasses. rest of the glass was a factory dark tint. a girl here in the office had her new Grand Caravan done for only $175.
Ask friends and family members if they can refer someone they've dealt with. Any time I'm having to find someone to do service on my own? I check the phone book. Then I look to see if they were in the phone book 2 years ago. If you don't keep old ones usually a local telephone service office or phone book ad sales office near you will have some. This just ensures they aren't some fly by night operation. Can also check with local BBB and Chamber of Commerce. I doubt you will get someone reputable for that price. But you can get estimates and comparisons as most will do estimates for free. Then make your decision based on that. Also make sure you get someone that offers a guarantee and get the guarantee in writing.
I found a reputable place (in GA) that advertised tinting 2 door cars w/ lifetime warranty starting at $200, but when I took my smart, they did it for $150. It was the first one they'd seen, and they looooved it.
