Hello gang, can someone tell me how to, step by step, to add pictures to my post?? I am trying to do it with this post, so if no picture shows up...you'll know I don't yet have a clue!
So far, I have clicked on the "Insert Image" thingy above...got the little box, put in the pictures URL...I guess...but here on preview, I just get a little box with a red X in it where the picture should be..can someone Please let me know what I am doing wrong?
If this post does show a picture of the smart vending machine, what I used for a test picture, then I quess I figgured it out..so let me hit submit.and see what we have.....Sue )

Reason: removed extra http
Being somewhat computer challenged myself, I have had loads of problems with my pictures. What I found out was that my 10 megapixel camera makes files that are too big for this site and it won't upload them. I went back to my 2 megapixel camera and most of those work. The other thing you can do is go to www.tinypic.com and they will resize your picture for you. That usually works, but then you get really small pictures.

It sounds like you're doing it all right.. Only thing I can think to question is.. What is the URL of that picture you were using?

yep, the redX means you're close - could just be something little out of place in the address. (Also, you can't link to a photo directly on your computer...but you probably knew that!) Best thing is to try one here and I can look at your url address via edit/quote to see what's wrong.
