[B]Since I first saw diesel Smarts for sale in Canada, I've been looking to import one. Several USA-titled diesels have been listed for sale online recently.
I emailed G&K in California about having a diesel converted but received no response. On their website they don't list them as being convertible to meet US DOT or EPA requirements.
Does anyone in this forum know how these cars are being titled in the USA?
