Can't Please Everyone (stop touch my car)

I came out of the market and was surprised to find a man looking over every inch of my car. The car has not received quite that much scrutiny before today. As I approached, I smiled and asked him how he liked it. He may have been embarrassed that he was caught peering in my window, but all he said just before scurrying away to his SUV was that it was okay if you like glorified go-carts. Oh well, to each his own....I love it.

Thats why I want a smart car Lol. I hate SUVs

Have always fantasized driving go-karts around on the street. Thats one of the reasons I really dig the crossblade version of our ride and a "motorcycle" called the T-Rex.

Next time, tell him his SUV is okay if you like glorified station wagons.

One thing I learned since having the smart...never ask them how they like it. It's like opening a can of worms for nothing. Next thing you know they will say "You will die in a crash with an SUV". Yep. It's brutal.

I read a bumper sticker on one of our smarts in our run today that read, "You're SUV makes you look fat". LOVED it, although it's kinda mean.

Hi Sharonlee,
I'll bet no one has ever shown such interest in his SUV as he showed in your Smart Car. Envy makes people say strange things. What he meant to say was "I wish I had a cute, fabulous, wonderful car like yours!" Hope you smiled pityingly at him and told him you understand.

Good advice. This car drew the largest curious crowd at our City Hall when I went to pay the water bill. Came out to find a bunch of city workers and police around it...but they were all very nice.

Couple days ago I transported my mom and aunt shoppping to an outlet mall about 50 miles away. Drove mom's beautiful white Mercedes station wagon. Wonderful ride, extreemly comfortable and beautiful car but.....

No one.....
Smiled at me
gave me a thumbs up
waved
honked
sat on my quarter panel to snap photos
gathered around the car to visit and admire.

Next day at Sam's club in Marta I had drawn a crowd before I even go out of the smart!

I like being a rock star!
