Car Configurator Price vs. Dealer Price

Has anyone had differing prices on the smart car between the car configurator price sent to us when we confirmed our order vs. the price the dealer quoted you at the time of sale. This price is pre-tax, license, registration, destination charge, and dealer installed accessories

Don't forget to add the dealer document fees (separate thread) to the above. That total should be what you pay out the door. Anything else - VIN etching, fabric protection, etc. is simply dealer add-on. Extended warranty is separate and those costs and benefits are discussed in other threads also.

I think there was only one instance on this board that I'm aware of a wrong MSRP price...had to do with something (power steering?) already in the comfort package being charge again separately. But, yes the MSRP from the configurator should (better!) match that on the window sticker, and what the dealer charges.

It was right on, plus the $645 destination charge for my 1173 delivery. Some stickers on other cars there had wrong info (black tridions labeled silver with the charge for example). Doc fees, license and tax always extra as usual. Plus all the goodies you buy in the parts department like mats and rear hatch covers.

My sticker was off due to the wrong color tridion cell quoted, but the price charged was right on with what the website would indicate.

Not sure what you are looking for Molar 1. You can find the exact cost for your location for tax title and dealer fees to get an out the door cost is that what you are looking for. Other than doc fees the delivering dealer did not jack up the price by adding required accessories or any market adjustments.
Hope that helps karl

Even edmunds.com has the pricing dead on except they have the destination charge at $600 instead of $645.
