Car costume kits?

Howdy all

I have seen some of the neat "costumes" you all have put on your smarts.

OK, so where can I get them>

Reindeer antlers and red nose for Christmas

Bunny ears and nose for Easter

Spider legs and fangs for Halloween

"flags/banners" for sporting events

Any more ideas?

URLs are most appreciated

"Make it yourself, it's easy" is really not an option.

I got my reindeer antlers at Bass Pro Shop, they might be available at other hunting supply stores, around $20-$25 (I don't remember exactly). They are made of plastic and have built in brackets to slide onto the windows. Chumly

I can provide a pattern for the Santa Hat.
My custom back window banner was coordinated with a local guy that does advertising graphics.

The antlers are available as soon as the holiday catalogs...try Amazon for the most common ones (then price shop as some are better made than others) such as the antlers and red nose.

I got my reindeer antlers and nose from Party City (not sure if they are nationwide or not, but I guess any Party supply store around the holidays should carry them) for $19.99. I think someone made the spider and bunny ears and I know for a fact that the giant santa hat is hand-made. And those are pretty much the reason I only own the antler and nose. =)

I made my spider legs using some plastic drain hose with a piece of 2x4 inside them, nailed to another 2x4 with 8 hoses attached to it. I covered the base 2x4 with black shag carpet to keep down the scratching potential. I then tied the bases to the doors and bent the hose legs to make legs. If you find some drain hose with the fabric covering, it looks better. The corrigated drain hose will hold their shape.

The front fangs were made from foamcore board and taped in place with good old duct tape on the back side.

Wouldn't mind a Santa Hat pattern, I like the looks of that hat!!

smarti-gras

My wife made a Mardi-Gras jester costume for our smart car a few years ago. We named it "smarti-gras".
